From August 12 to 15 will be held at the International Skydiving Center in Varadero the II Skydiving Friendship Cup "Landing precision".
Omar Gómez, who heads the organizing committee, confirmed to PL that athletes from Brazil, Chile, Cuba, United States and Peru will assist to the event. In total, 45 paratroopers of both sexes will participate. The appointment is expected to be perfect pretext to strengthen ties between athletes and federation and exchange experiences and knowledge.
According to Gomez, the Cuban Aviation Club and the Cuban Federation of Parachuting were responsible for extending the invitation to the sporting event, which is also a preparation before the Latin American Freefall Championship, to be held from 22 to 27 September in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
