US food exports to Cuba fell 37%

Exports of US agricultural products to Cuba decreased by 37% in the first six months of 2015, despite the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the new report of the US-Cuba Trade and Economic Council informed today.
Total US exports in the first half of 2015 amounted to $ 119 million, 37% below the same period in 2014.
At the head of the exported products are frozen chicken, with 50%; followed by soybean oil, with 25% and soybean meal with 9%.
