Bolivian University grants honorary title to Fidel

Twentieth Century National University awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, by the coincidence of his ideas with those promoted by the educational institution.
In the activity in which the Cuban leader, 88-year-old, will be honored, President Evo Morales will participate and will use the occasion to inaugurate a sports field for up to about four thousand people.
René Paco, manager of public relations at the Twentieth Century National University, said to Prensa Latina that the aforementioned center is a defender of the ideas of Fidel that is why he was given an honorary doctorate, to recognize his struggle in favor of the world's poor. He also reported that the counselor of the Cuban embassy in Bolivia, Erick Valdes will collect the distinction.
