Havana Air Charters and Eastern Airlines Group have announced a partnership to offer from August direct flights between the US and Cuba. The frequency of these flights will be weekly from George Bush Airport in Houston, directly to Jose Marti Airport in Havana, and it is expected to be departures from Houston every Wednesday.
 "We are excited to open the market for Houston to Cuba with our valued partner Eastern Airlines," said Mark Elias, HavanaAir President.
On the other hand, Eastern Airlines follows the footsteps of Jet Blue and enters what could be the Cuban commercial reef, which for many can become the tourist boom of the year if President Obama can convince the Congress in regard to lifting the trade embargo imposed on Cuba and get the Americans can make tourist trips to Cuba.
