Automation Alley, US business association of technology for the automotive industry, begin trade mission to Cuba next year with the aim of exploring new business opportunities.
A group made up of small and medium enterprises of the association begins an exploratory trip of few days to the island in October 2016.
This is because "the recent restoration of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba has opened up potential business opportunities for American companies", Automation Alley said in a statement.
According to its director of international business, Noel Nevshehir, "for the past 50 years, Cuba has been isolated from American business, but new policies are making it easier for US companies to expand and diversify their products, services and technologies in this new emerging market ".
