Tony Torres, sales manager of Delta Airlines, announced that charter flights to Cuba from Atlanta are expected to begin operating regularly in the spring of 2016.
"Delta is very interested in serving the Cuban market," said the manager, specifying that it is a unique market. Torres traveled to Cuba in recent days with a contingent of the World Council of Atlanta, along with the mayor Kasim Reed and Councilmember Kwanza Hall.
Delta said it wants to "be able to capitalize when the market to be open."
