The European Union (EU) and Cuba will start on Monday the fourth round of negotiations for an agreement on political dialogue and cooperation. In late March, Federica Mogherini, head of EU diplomacy, paid a visit to the island while Bruno Rodriguez, Cuba's Foreign Minister, traveled to Brussels a month later. The High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the EU also held a bilateral meeting with Miguel Diaz-Canel, Cuba´s first vice president, on the margins of the EU-CELAC Summit.
