A meeting between officials of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and Rolando Leon Zayas Bu, Counselor Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Russian Federation, took place in Moscow last Wednesday, according to a press release of the Russian governmental agency. The topic, says the note, was the  bilateral cooperation in the field of veterinary supervision. 
The Cuban envoy expressed Havana’s interest in a soon delivery of seafood to Russia and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union which includes Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia itself.
The first products would be lobster and shrimp, but Cuba promises to supply more marine products if both parties agreed so. He thanked the Russian company for delivering licenses to Cuban products to access the Russian market.
