Cuba today won gold and silver medals at the closing day of the European Judo Open in Minsk, Belarus, through Jose Armenteros, in the 100 kilograms, and Ivan Silva (81), respectively.
According to the website of the contest, Armenteros won the title by defeating Grigori Minaskin, from Estonia, in the final by technical superiority, while Silva was silver medalist after losing by ippon against Egyptian Mohamed Abdelaal.
