The Cuban capital will enhance its status as wonder city when hosting next week Cuba es Moda (Cuba is Fashion), the first trade fair of its kind organized by the country,  with the aim of  becoming a reference of good taste in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The event, organized by Palco Business Group and the Chamber of Commerce  of the Republic of Cuba, will take place from June 8 to 11 at PABEXPO fairgrounds, located in the west of the  city center. 
Its main topics include items for women, men and children, footwear and handbags, lingerie and swimwear, accessories, textiles, cosmetics, jewelry, sportswear and fashion magazines.
According to the organizers, Cuba is Fashion intends to position itself among the most representative markets of this field in the region, such as Brazil and Jamaica; in addition to lay the groundwork for the event to take place every year.
