The debut of Manrique Larduet and Marcia Videaux on the first day of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup final in Anadia, Portugal left an excellent balance for the new batch of the island. Manrique and Marcia won gold medals in men’s floor and women’s vault respectively.

The winner of the all around event in Veracruz '14 Central American Games won with 15,075 points and left behind Slovenian Ziga Cilc (14,925) and Brazilian Caio Souza (14,750), as reported by the organizers.

Manrique, 18, received the highest score of difficulty among the eight contestants with 6,960 and also received the highest note (8,475) for his execution.

Marcia, 16, won the gold medal in the vault with 15,112 points and also finished third in the uneven bars with 13, 425 points.
