Cuban Internet users can now download Google toolbar. The US company announced the news on its corporate blog last Tuesday.
The new service joins the arrival on the island of Chrome browser last year, applications and free games from Google Play and the free version of Google Analytics.
The directors of the US Internet giant have traveled twice to Cuba last year, with the aim of promoting the virtues of a free and open Internet.
However, Internet access in Cuba remains restricted since connection from homes - with few exceptions- are not allowed, and the rates in Internet rooms or hotels are too high.
