Blue Diamond Canadian hotel chain ensures its space in this market with the addition of two new brands, Starfish Resorts and Grand Memories Resorts. The first one already manages a hotel in Varadero and another in Cayo Santa Maria, with cheaper services compared to its luxury line Royalton.
The place chosen by Blue Diamond for the launch was Memories Flamenco, one of 13 facilities in six of the most important tourist centers of the island: Havana, Jibacoa, Varadero, Cayo Santa Maria, Cayo Coco and Holguin.
The hotel chain has established itself in the second position -along with the Spanish Iberostar- between foreign chains with greater presence, after Melia. Executives of the Canadian company presented new proposals at the XXXV International Tourism Fair, FitCuba 2015 held this week in Jardines del Rey.
