The second edition of Revolución, Socialismo, Periodismo by Julio García Luis (1941-2012), was launched in Havana, dedicated to the journalist, professor and former dean of the Faculty of Social Communication. The presentation was held at the Pavilion Cuba, venue of XXIV International Book Fair.

The second edition, published under the seal of the publisher Pablo de la Torriente, exposes the contradictions of Cuban society, but above all proposes a journalist since the revolution and socialism from Julio Garcia considered feasible.

According to the posthumous assessment of the work, written by the social scientist Miguel Limia David, analysis of the book provides the knowledge not only of the need for journalism in Cuba levels of communicative efficiency, it is possible in the middle of a scenario remains complex by historical differences with the United States.
