Very low temperatures were reported in Havana

The lowest temperature of this winter season occurred in the early hours of Sunday in Bainoa and Tapaste, localities in the south of Havana, where the thermometer marked a low of 3.9 degrees Celsius.
According to the newspaper Granma, a total of 26 weather stations were below ten degrees records.
Winter conditions have persisted for several days, and maintained for much of this week because on Wednesday 18 come a new cold front to the island.
The national record in Cuba minimum temperature is 0.6 degrees Celsius, Bainoa established precisely in the February 18, 1996.
