A new Gaviota hotel, administered by the chain Meliá Hotels International began operations in Cayo Coco, north of Ciego de Avila.

Jardines del Rey hotel opened in a first stage with 624 rooms, while for February will complete the remaining up to 1172, said Oscar Medina Rodríguez, territorial delegate of Gaviota in Ciego de Ávila and Camagüey.

The facility with five-star and all inclusive system is the first of Gaviota destination Melia Jardines del Rey and the number 27 of the Spanish chain in Cuba.

Stands out for its location on a beach in excellent condition and variety of services which include two restaurants buffet and five on the letter specialized in Mediterranean cuisine, oriental, Cuban, International and seafood, plus beach shack, ice cream and four bars .

It also has a children's pool and another with aquabar service for the whole family, a club of passive games, sports courts, gym, water point, and day and night activities on the beach, the pools, the Central Plaza Animation and theater activities.

The new facility Jardines del Rey host the International Tourism Fair, FITCuba 2015 and it amounted to more than six thousand rooms in operation in northern cays of Ciego de Avila.
