Cuban sports closes 2014 with 415 athletes in 20 sports classifieds for Toronto 2015 Pan American Games after participating in several events that gave tickets to the Canadian event, scheduled from July 10 to 26.

Cuba won the largest number of seats in the Pan American Sports Festival and XXII Central American and Caribbean, both in Mexico, where it reached the top country Games.

The continental lid quotas distributed in 12 disciplines, while central Caribbean convened 16 sports, which put 104 seats at stake.

Cubans will be in Toronto in order to maintain second place by nation, with its main rival in the US athletes, historical owners of the top, with the exception of the edition of Havana 91, where they were displaced to the second seat by Caribbean hosts.

Toronto will be a good gauge of the preparation for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016, with its closest antecedent in London 2012, where Cuba ranked 16th with five gold medals, three silver and six bronze.
