Cuba got gold medal in high jump

Cuban Sergio Mestre, 23 years old, reached today's high jump title across the rod about two meters and 26 centimeters, on his third attempt, and overcome the Venezuelan Eure Yanez and Bahamian Ingrahan Ryan, who jumped two 24 and took second and third place.
This is the tenth gold medal for Cuba in athletics, with eight silver and five bronze.
Meanwhile, in the men's 10,000 meters local Juan Luis Barrios was imposed, with record of 29: 13.63 minutes, ahead of compatriot Juan Carlos Romero (29: 28.32) and Colombian Ivan Dario Gonzalez (29: 41.31) .
Generally Cuba filed 84 gold medals, 53 silver and 50 bronze, behind Mexico, with 90-70-87.
Colombia ranks third with 56 first places, 58 seconds and 64 third, ahead of Venezuela (43-55-87) and Guatemala (11-14-31).
