Cuba promotes its offerings at the International Tourism Fair in Shanghai

Cuba promoted its destination in the recently concluded International Tourism Trade Fair in Shanghai, the biggest event of its kind in Asia, and attracted the interest of travel agencies and tour operators participating.
Printed materials and other promotional media supported the tourist offers of Cuba, a nation known for its beautiful landscapes and sites declared World Heritage by UNESCO, as the old part of Havana.
Ariel Lorenzo, Cuba consul in Shanghai, announced a package designed for Chinese tourists in one trip includes stays in Canada (main source market of tourists in the world) and Cuba was first offered.
This tour option is part of the joint work with Cuba Incoming Tour Operators Association of Chinese in the province of Ontario, he said. The ninth edition of the fair, which was held from November 14 to 16, with the participation of 23 tourism ministers and more than 250 travel agents and tour operators representing 106 countries and regions.
