The Cuban player Yoan Moncada displayed his skills in Guatemala at least 50 scouts from 30 teams of Major Leagues (MLB). Moncada, 19, hits from both sides of the plate and play shortstop, second or third base.

"The boy is hitting very well. His career is also good. I saw many people excited with his performance. And I'm very impressed by the large number of scouts who came to see him," said director of international scouting for the Baltimore Orioles Fred Ferreira after the test.

Among those who witnessed his display were seven observers from the Red Sox and representatives of the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians and the Yankees and Mets, among others.

"I feel very happy. For that I prepared myself during these five months. Today I gave everything and the only thing missing were my parents" said Cuban after his presentation.

Moncada recently requested free agency to be hired by any organization, and is waiting for the process that could take between two and six months is realized.
