Celia Cruz's voice accompanied the first choreography of American Company Hispanic Ballet of New York, choreographic work was in charge of the Cuban-American Eduardo Vilaro. The end of the show was an allegorical dancer Celia, dressed in blue, like the Cuban Virgen de Regla she adored.
Celia Cruz enjoyed success, treasured Grammy awards, gave concerts to packed houses accompanied by great musicians, while in her native country had banned it. However, she always had in mind that her audience was still on the island and although they could not enjoy her concerts they adored her because of her undeniable talent.
In the end, the audience thanked the show standing ovation the dancers and who were not able to get into the crowded Mella Theater in Havana could see it on television.
