Raul Castro met with the Executive Secretary of ECLAC

Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, received on the afternoon of October 28, Alicia Barcena Ibarra, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), who is visiting the island.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between Cuba and ECLAC and the common intentions to continue deepening them; as such, Barcena Ibarra said it is an honor to accompany Cuba in the process of updating the economic model and confirmed the interest of ECLAC in providing all possible assistance.
Accompanying Raul, there was Economy Minister Marino Murillo Jorge and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca.
