Polish Jozef Olechowski and Sebastian Kwapisz will play tomorrow in Havana in tribute to the music of their country, with a recital for piano and violin. The pianist Olechowski and violinist Kwapisz, who have lived in Mexico for meny years, will perform at the concert hall of the Oratorio San Felipe Neri.

The program includes works by Henryk Wieniawski, Grażyna Bacewicz, Karol Szymanowski and Witold Lutoséawski including Dudziarz, Song of Roxana, Polonaise in A Major, Polish Dance and Partita.

Olechowski, artistic director of the Cultural Frederic Chopin Society in Mexico, has recorded about 30 albums for labels such as BMG, Universal, EMI and Sony Music.

Kwapisz was a child prodigy that since the age of 11 gave international concerts, and now runs an institute with his name, dedicated to teaching string instruments.
