Cuban photographer Orlando Luis Pardo opened exhibition at Brown University

"Habaniroshima, mon amour" is the name of the exhibition that Cuban photographer Orlando Luis Pardo Lazo inaugurated on this October 22 at the Watson Institute at Brown University. The exhibition includes 21 photographs taken in Cuba and will be open until January 30, 2015.
The exhibition has the support of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) and the Department of Literary Arts and it was presented by Esther Whitfield, a professor at Brown University.
The images are also part of the book Abandoned Havana (Restless Books, New York, 2014), which includes 80 photos and 80 texts by Pardo Lazo, in Spanish and English. Also in the opening will be play an audiovisual work by Pardo Lazo and Silvia Batista Corbelle.
