The governments of Cuba and North Korea signed agreements on trade and trade payments. Representatives from both countries were Cuba's Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, and for North Korea's part new ambassador to Pyongyang in Havana, Pak Chang Yul.
The parts agreed to a protocol "on the general terms of delivery of goods between the referral and the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of North Korea." Havana have agreements for cooperation in sectors such as education, oil, agriculture and trade with North Korea, one of the most bloodthirsty allies.
A sample of the relations between the regimes of Raul Castro and Kim Jong-un was the capture last year, in Panama Canal, a North Korean ship carrying an illegal shipment of Cuban arms.
