Peruvian singer Susana Baca is happy to visit Cuba

Susana Baca is guest of honor of the III Meeting of Popular Voices held in Havana since last Tuesday. Peruvian singer expressed her joy at meeting again in Cuba and to share her music with the public and other artists of the country.
The two-time winner of Latin Grammy reported that she will work with two members of the group Jazz Peru, who propose a new and unique music based on Peru afro roots. Baca will offer an unique concert on Saturday 18 at the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theatre.
"They are very passionate artists who counted the days to come to Cuba and they're here today walking the streets and know the area," Baca said about Jazz Peru group. "We are grateful and we will show it by giving the sounds of Peru, made with all our love," she concluded.
As long as she was in Cuba Vistell Orlando, president of the Cuban Institute of Music, made the official presentation of Cubadisco 2013 International Award for the CD Same Blood, recorded by singer along the Ecuadorian Papa Roncón.
