Cuba requested the FIFA consulting knowledge and a course for women's football, and for that the organization sent to the Mexican Andrea Rodebaugh, consultant and trainer of the Federation who will train for a week Cuban coaches.

Andrea was a player of the Mexican national team and member of team that attended the World Cup in the United States in 1999, also serving as coach of women's under-20 group, which took part in the Women's World Cup Chile 2008.
 
"My mission here is to assess how the sport up and then make my recommendations to the Federation based in Zurich," said Andrea. "The goal is to see major deficiencies in the Cuban women's area, and then help massively football through development programs of FIFA."

According to the FIFA specialist, who traveled to Cuba in 2007, this time she sees the girls better prepared and believes that is becoming more popular the practice of the sport among women, thereby promoting better development of the discipline.
