From November 2 to 8 will take place the XXXII International Fair of Havana, in which the host country will take the opportunity to present their portfolio of opportunities, aimed at promoting the participation of foreign capital in key sectors to boost the development of the national economy.

Omar Fernandez, general secretary of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, said that to date have been explained in many meetings with domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, general and sectoral principles of the new law regulating foreign investment, approved by Cuban Parliament in April and enacted in June.

However, in the context of the major commercial event the first update of the portfolio will be officially expose, for which it already have organized an extensive program of presentations by sector, said Fernandez.

In these forums, representatives of fundamental areas such as renewable energy, agriculture, industry and tourism, will provide details about the projects prioritized in the realization of business with foreign partners.

Broadly, the new law proposes more flexibility customs, guarantees to entrepreneurs in almost all sectors of the national economy and agility in terms of documentation for contracts.
