Cuban soccer team won their friendly match against Azulita of El Salvador last night. Arichel Hernandez scored the first goal in the 25th minute Arturo Diaz and then secured the win with another goal in the 35th minute.

The game against El Salvador is the first in a sere meetings just before the Central American and Caribbean, to be held from 14 to 30 November in Veracruz, Mexico Games.

In addition to the game today, Cuba is again face the Salvadoran team this coming Wednesday, October 8. Later in the week, on 9 and 11 October, Cuban catrachos compete with Honduras in their homeland.

After the tour of Central America, the Cuban team will return to the island before moving next 1 November to Mexico City for a training base. So said Luis Enrique Yero, member of the Cuban Football Association, the National News Agency.
