Stardom in the Major Leagues is very close to Cuban Yasmani Thomas, who could be the next baseball player of the island to achieve major contracts in the free agent market.

His excellent physical condition made  an international scout to comment, who was not identified, the young Cuban has shown his talent to the teams and this will make the deals reach considerably higher figures. As stated among the teams interested are the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox.

If the figure for the gardener in just 23 confirmed, the contract would beat the sum of $ 72.5 million recently achieved by Rusney Castillo, who signed for seven years with the Red Sox. Also, the six-year and 68 million by José Dariel Abreu signed with the Chicago White Sox in October 2013, and seven years and 42 million Yasiel Puig agreed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in June 2012.

Jay Alou, player agent, says he hopes to impose a record, "Thomas has an impressive power and then we're talking about a 23 years old, so it has everything going for it," he added. "The teams are very, very interested in it, because they know that it will not be wrong."
