Amidst a total change at the top of the table, Cuban Leinier Dominguez drew today for the sixth consecutive time in Paris Chess Grand Prix and will have a difficult closing in the eleventh and final round of the event.

Leinier (2757 Elo points), with black pieces, signed peace with Russian Alexander Grischuk (2785) in 30 moves of a Petrov defense.
 
In othe match, American Hikaru Nakamura (2772) was sent to the third place after losing to Israeli Boris Gelfand (2664) and he was surpassed by his victimizer and Italian Fabiano Caruana (2779).
 
The latter beat Russian Evgeny Tomashevsky (2703) and will be Leinier´s rival tomorrow.
 
The other winner of the day was Frenchman Etienne Bacrot (2723), who defeated his compatriot Laurent Fressinet (2708).
 
The matches between Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk (2731) and Dutch Anish Giri (2737) and the also Ukrainian Ruslan Ponomariov (2756) against China's Hao Wang (2737) both ended in draw.
 
In addition to the aforementioned duel of Leinier-Caruana, tomorrow´s matches will be: Gelfand-Ponomariov, Giri-Nakamura, Tomashevsky-Ivanchuk, Bacrot-Grischuk and Wang-Fressinet.
 
Standings before the last round: Caruana and Gelfand (6.5), Nakamura and Bacrot (6), Grischuk and Leinier (5), Ivanchuk, Ponomariov, Wang and Tomashevsky (4.5), Fressinet (4) and Giri (3).
