New President of Cuban Cinema Confirms Spirit of Change

Robert Smith assumed the new presidency of the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), iconic cultural institution undergoing a reorganization.
The hitherto vice president for ICAIC Information, a psychologist attached to the body since 1979, succeeds Omar Gonzalez.
Sources from the institution confirmed the change to Prensa Latina, before La Jiribilla website, of the Ministry of Culture, presented the new president of the Cuban cinema.
