Cuban dance-music company Camagua continued its European tour after representing the Caribbean island in the 54th International Folklore Festival of Jambes-Namur, Belgium, the of that group direction reported.

The Cuban artists alternated with others folk groups such as 'Origens' (Brazil), 'Kocho Racin' (Macedonia), 'Yunist Podillya' (Ukraine), 'Lou Trelus' (France), 'Shilpagya India' (India), and 'Frairie Masuis Royale' (Belgium), public relations head Agustin Martinez de Santelices told Prensa Latina.

The company debuted at the 'Dances of the World' gala, with a show 'Through the Fields of my Cuba', where it exchanged with other participating groups.

Martinez de Santelices stated that Camagua and other groups participated in the cultural parade through streets of the Namur city, which concluded with the words of welcome by Maxime Prevot, mayor of the city, and Teresa Rodriguez, president of the festival.

He stated that Camagua traveled to France to attend the 54th International Folklore Festival of Houblon, until August 25 in the presence of cultural delegations from the host country, and Egypt, Benin, Republic of Tatarstan, Slovakia, Italy, Philippines, South Africa, and Tahiti.
