Freixenet''s Spanish wines announced that the group is strengthening its presence in Cuba, and will participate as an exhibitor next month during the 14th International Wine Fair of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba.

For the company's commercial manager, Jorge Figueredo, the presence in that event is relevant, when the Freixenet group will show sparkling and non - sparkling wines from Argentina, Australia, Chile, and Spain, which market in this island.

The International Wine Fair will be held from October 2 to 4, a meeting considered traditional, and also an opportunity for exchange among professionals in the wine sector and tourism.

Among Freixenet's proposals as a marketer is the promotion of Angostura bitters, after ratifying an agreement with the production company from Trinidad and Tobago, which puts the Spanish company as a marketing of that brand here.

The meeting will provide a space to create and promote cocktails with Angostura, mixed with different wines.

The Freixenet group exports its products to more than 140 countries, and it is the producer of the famous brand of sparkling wine (cava). It also stands out in Cuba for promoting and marketing other brands of wines from Spanish, French and Chilean wineries.
