Cuban Police Urged to Work Harder for Public Peace

Cuba's Interior Minister Abelardo Colome Ibarra, urged police forces to achieve a more professional work to ensure public order and public peace, published the national press. In a congratulatory message to the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) in its 54th anniversary, Colome Ibarra said it is necessary more and better training, as well as cohesion and a systematic work.
According to the newspaper Juventud Rebelde, the celebration for the 54 years of the PNR included giving awards to officers who dedicate their lives to fulfill their duty, with their families' support.
In this sense, several members of the institution were awarded with medals Olo Pantoja First Class and Internal Order of First and Second Class, approved by the State Council of the Republic of Cuba.
