Several choirs will gather here in a cantata on January 28, as homage for the 160th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban intellectual and leader of the independence war José Martí (1853-1895).

Accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Enrique Pérez Mesa, will offer a luxury concert to present the premiere of Vierte Corazón, piece of Beatriz Corona inspired by the poem Vierte corazón, tu pena, included in Marti's verses.

Cámara Exaudi Choirs, directed by Maria Felicia Perez and Vocal Leo, led by Corina Campos, are part of the show which will take place at the National Theatre.

Camerata Vocale Sine Nomine, under the direction of Leonor Suarez and Liagne Reina Perez with the Choir of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television will also be part of the concert.

As a prelude to these concerts, various children's groups will join the commemoration, including Cantoría Lunitas and Solfa, with presentations at the National Museum of Fine Arts.
