Vietnam's Communist Leader Welcomes Cuban Vice President

Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), received in Hanoi Marino Murillo Jorge, Politburo member of the Communist Party of Cuba and Vice President of the Council of Ministers, who is on official visit in the Asian country.
In the meeting, both leaders noted the historic ties of friendship between the two peoples and the excellent state of bilateral relations reported the Cuban National News television.
Murillo and Phu Trong tackled some other important topics regarding national experiences in the process of building socialism.
As part of his visit to Vietnam, Jorge Murillo was also received by Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Prime Minister and other leaders of the CPV and the Government of that country.
Xuan Phuc reiterated the will of its people to consolidate and develop solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Cuba, Prensa Latina news agency reported
He suggested the coordinatation for the search for new mechanisms of cooperation and the appropriate measures to increase it, kkeping in mind the conditions of each nation.
Jorge Murillo reaffirmed that Cuba shares the same desire to strengthen those ties, and it is interested in learning from the renewal and development experiences in Vietnam.
