Mexico-Cuba New Air Route Increases Tourism

With the launch of a new air route between Cuba and Mexico, tourist travel possibilities take on new enhancement in the midst of a year of many recreational possibilities for Cuba.
A statement from the Cuba's Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), reported that a direct route to the Cuban central city of Santa Clara will begin operations today.
These trips will be made â??â??with TU 204 aircraft from Cubana air lines, with capacity for 170 passengers.
The note adds that this link will facilitate the growing interest of Mexican tourists to know the historical and cultural heritage of this city, considered the Cuban axis of the guerrilla commander Ernesto Che Guevara.
In Santa Clara city was built the Sculptural Complex in memory of Che Guevara and his comrades. That link also benefits the possibility of excursions to the colonial town of Remedios, founded in the 16th century, the natural landscape of Hanabanilla and Las Brujas, Ensenachos and Santa Maria Cays.
These scenarios are highly demanded by Mexican travelers, hence the opening of this connection that will facilitate the stay and links to the rest of the country.
