Cuban men and women 4X400 meter relays will compete in the London Olympic Games, which will began on July 27, International Association of Athletics Federations ( IAAF) said Tuesday.

IAAF published in its website the list of the 16 relays qualifiead for each of the men and women 4X100 meters in which a total of 64 teams will compete.

Cuba will participate in the men modality together with the teams of Jamaica, Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, the United States, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Kenya, Australia, Japan and Britain.

The women's relay includes, besides Cuba, Jamaica, Brazil, the United States, Germany, Belarus, France, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Nigeria and Britain.

The men's 4X100m relay teams include Brazil, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Holland, Britain, Hong Kong of China, Italy, Poland, China, Japan and Australia.

The women's 4X100m relay teams include Bahamas, Belarus, Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, Germany, France, Holland, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Nigeria and Japan.

Until June 30, Cuba had 108 sportsmen and sportswomen qualified, including 43 for athletics.

London Olympic Games will last from July 27 to August 12. Organizers expect more than 10,000 competitors from 204 countries and regions in 26 sports.
