Disney Cruise Line is working with U.S. Coast Guard authorities to arrange the disembarkation of four Cuban men, rescued by the Disney Fantasy over the weekend.

The men were spotted on a small raft near Key West and signaled for help, according to Disney spokeswoman Rebecca Peddle.

The ship embarked from Port Canaveral on Saturday and was en route to Grand Cayman when the rescue occurred.

"The men were brought aboard the ship and provided with medical attention along with food and water. We are proud of our Disney Fantasy crew members, who skillfully demonstrated their training and commitment to maritime protocols around saving lives at sea," Disney Cruise Line said in a statement.

The ship is in Mexico today and tomorrow, and then is scheduled to call at Disney's Castaway Cay in the Bahamas before returning to Port Canaveral on Saturday. The rescued men remain onboard.
