Cuba's young talented pitching staff is ready for the 3rd World's Classic and their readiness may show in their results at the most demanding international events, whether this or any other event, says Jose Elosegui, pitching coach of Industriales.
Yadier Pedroso, 24, is bold and has had fine results in national and international contests but the seasoned Coach mentioned as quality, progressing co-teamers for the March 2013 baseball contest Yohan Hernendez, Jorge Alberto Martinez, Odrisamer Despaigne, Freddy Asiel Alvarez and Vladimir Garcia.
This 3rd edition nurtures Cuba's hopes for its first Gold for which we will need, above all, strong arms - for they will be having little rest-, and fine control of their pitches.
"I'm always optimistic since pitching is always seen as our Achilles heel but Cuba's Silver medal at the 2006 edition precisely relied on the pitching staff merits as well, said Jose Elosegui.
