Cuba reaffirmed its decision to hold dialogue with the United States on the case of its citizen Alan Gross, and to settle the case with a humanitarian solution and on reciprocal grounds.

In letter from the head of Cuba's Interest Section in Washington, Jorge Bolaños, to journalist Wolf Blitzer, conductor of The Situation Room, he explains Gross verdict, jailed here for his breach of national sovereignty.

Bolaños explains that the Island has told the White House about its disposition to expedite a humanitarian solution to the case, without preconditions and through dialogue.

He reminds that Gross is not jailed for helping resident Jews access the Internet for every Synagogue in Cuba has access to the www.

"Gross violated Cuba's Laws introducing a program the US government designed to covertly subvert Cuba's lawful order which is a crime in many countries, including the United States of America," reads the letter.

He is neither a voluntary worker who came to aid the people of Cuba; he is rather a pro in the the Federal Government pay list.

Nonetheless, he is healthy and he is provided specialized medical assitance, balanced nutrition, regular consular visits of his wife and family and of political and religious personalities.

Such terms differ from the cruel status imposed up on the Five Cuban anti-terrorists jailed in the USA, said the diplomat.

Gerardo Hernandez, Fernando Gonzalez, Ramon Labanino, Antonio Guerrero and Rene Gonzalez were sentence and now serve severe jail sanctions in the US for monitoring terrorist groups based in south Florida.

The Cuban, as they are known in global campaign, have been 14 years in US high security prisons charged with digging into terrorist groups activities that helped save thousands of lives on both sides of the border.

"They were neither meddling into Federal secrets nor endagenring US national security," underlines the text on Cuba's Minrex web page, stressing that their relatives in comparison have had to undergo cruel obstacles to visit them, and Gerardo and Rene have been unlucky with their conjugal visits.
