With the summoning to Havanatur Golf Tournament, this international business group with over 30 years operating currently promotes a sports-recreation discipline which is gaining importance in this country.

Executives of Incentive Tours and Specialized Tourism of Havanatour added that the tournament is scheduled for June 21 to 23, chiefly for amateur golfers at Varadero Golf Club in Cuba.

Representatives of Havanatur and the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) met at the Havana Golf Club in this capital this weekend to define details of the event.

Varadero Golf, venue of the tournament in June and 140 kilometers east of this capital, is located in a narrow strip of land of 3.5 kilometers nearby the five star Hotel Melia las Americas.

Net and Gross women and men categories will compete in this event, as well as closest to the pin, and longest drive men and women category, among others.
