For this year the province of Camagüey has set a goal to enter the country 111 million 600 thousand U.S. dollars (USD), surpassing that achieved last 2011. The export of 20 lines and increasing the production of raw sugar will make it possible to achieve your goal.

According to Fidel Perez, provincial director of Tecnoazucar oil-trading unit, until the penultimate week of March were processed 34 000 988 tonnes of sweet, an annual 60 000 355 for sale on the international market.
Perez recalled that the current price of a ton of this line is around 540 USD, depending on quality.
Iris Cruz Camaguey MINCEX delegate reiterated that the derivative of sugar cane continues to lead the export funds in the territory.
In 2011, the province managed exports valued at 39 million 078 thousand 400 U.S. dollars, which met as planned at 126.3 percent, but still below their potential.
