Added five film productions that Cuba will participate in the XIX Latino Film Festival 2012 San Diego, California. Among these is the film Habanastation (2011) and the animated short Abdala.

In the U.S. annual event, the next 8 to 18, will be screened also feature ticket to paradise, Gerardo Chijona, 2012 Goya Award nominee, and John of the dead, Alejandro Brugues, winner at the recent Festival XXXII Fantastic Film Porto, Fantasporto, Portugal.

The ratio of the Caribbean island tapes it up to the event as well, The path of the gulls, Cuban-Brazilian co-production (which features the voice of the singer Omara Portuondo) plus Abdala, the return of the lords of Xibalba, of Adrian Lopez Morin.
