The International Book Fair will be held throughout the country from 9 February to March 4 starting from Havana and ending in Santiago de Cuba. This year the New Millennium Cuban publishing houses, the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) and Captain San Luis keep surprises readers with books that present themselves.

The chief editor of editions ICAIC, Mercy Ruiz, said this year will carry the highest number of publications in its history: 16 news and the latest issue of the magazine Cine Cubano, presented at the last International Festival of New Latin American Cinema.
