Performance by the Ballet Nacional de Cuba in Havana next weekend

The next weekend, from 20 to 22 January, will premiere at the Gran Teatro de La Habana magic of dance, where the National Ballet of Cuba, directed by Alicia Alonso, will gather in presenting the highlights of the choreography and art in the nineteenth century.
Paradigmatic versions are a sign of respect and creativity with which the Cuban school of ballet faces tradition, this show includes scenes from the second act of Giselle and the third act of The Sleeping Beauty, also with the sublime choreography of dancer.
Attendees at the García Lorca Hall can enjoy the second act of The Nutcracker and the first and third acts of Coppelia.
This large selection acclaimed venues in the world, also contains Don Quixote, Alicia Alonso version of artistic and choreographic direction of Marta García and María Elena Llorente, on the original version MariusPetipa and Alexander Gorski, the second act of the lake swans, and Gottschalk Symphony.
The characters in these roles functions will be assumed by the company's leading figures Viengsay Valdes, SadaiseArencibia, Yanela Piñera, Amaya Rodriguez, Dani Hernandez, Ernesto Alvarez, Jose Losada, Camilo Ramos, and Ginette OsielGounod Moncho.
Also, young dance talents of the company as Grettel Morejon, Yani Gomez, Arian Molina and Victor Estevez.
The absence of the first dancer Anette Delgado is due to be presented as a guest artist of the Ballet de Santiago de Chile, led by Marcia Haydee, from 19 to 21 coming in Frutillar Lake Theatre with the play Don Quixote.
Tickets for the functions of the magic of dance, are now on sale at the Coliseum in Havana.
