The tour-reported, includes a workshop, taught by Dr. Julio Cesar Pagés and her team work, entitled Music and culture of violence, which lead to all schools of art instructors to influence who will form the most small.

The presentations will begin and continue for Holguin Santiago de Cuba, Bayamo, Camagüey, Ciego de Avila, Sancti Spiritus, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos, Matanzas and Pinar del Rio, which will end on February 2, he said.

As part of the program, he pointed out, invite artists from every town and will pay special tribute to outstanding women in the history of the fatherland, Mariana Grajales, Rosa, La Bayamesa, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, Marta Abreu, Edelmira War, Emilia Casanova Peñarredonda Villaverde and Magdalena.

He noted that in recent times some music and song texts convey negative values, incite violence against women (presented only as sex symbols) and have a strong tendency towards homophobia.

He stressed that it is necessary to promote efforts and spaces where females are the protagonists performers from the stage, a fight against gender violence, with music as an effective means to combat it.
