Belarusian businessmen will participate in the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV 2011) assessed today with Cuban officials the prospects of bilateral trade.

Five Belarusian companies will participate in the XXIX edition of the Havana International Fair to be held at the fairgrounds Expocuba, 31 this month to 5 November.

"For the Cuban diplomatic mission is very important to interact with Belarusian entrepreneurs, knowledge and support," said the ambassador of the island, Alfredo Nieves, in the words of welcome to the meeting.

Igor Palu, representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, said his country appreciates the efforts made to increase trade with Cuba.

The Belarusian diplomat stressed that his country will participate in the Fair with a modest representation, but with products known for the largest of the Antilles.

FIHAV stressed that, over the 29 years of its existence, has experienced sustained growth in each new edition has established itself as a major trade event in Latin America.
