According to organizers, the event will be held on October 15-16 at America Theater, in Havana, one of the most important institutions of Cuban musical show.

The cast will include pianist Juan Espinosa, poet Olga Navarro and actress Rosa Maria Medel, among others, according to art director Jose Antonio Jimenez.

As an artistic Cuban figure of singing, theatre, cinema, radio and television, Rosa Fornes´ talent has been recognized by her public in Cuba, Mexico, Spain and elsewhere.

She has been given countless awards, including national prizes in Theater (2001), Television (2003) and Music (2005).

She has performed in the United States, Venezuela, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Spain, the former Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Rumania, Germany, Hungary and Poland, and shared the stage with legends of Cuban music like Rita Montaner, Ignacio Villa(Bola de Nieve), Benny More and Esther Borja.

She worked with late prestigious musical directors like Gonzalo Roig, Ernesto Lecuona, Rodrigo Prats, Adolfo Guzman, Armando Romeu and Rafael Somavilla.
